Course Description:

Dirab Golf & Country Club is the only grassed 18-hole Par-72 championship and 9-hole Par 27 Academy golf course in Riyadh, Kingdom Saudi Arabia. Located 45 kms south west of Riyadh City and nestled in the picturesque Tawiq valley, the club features lush tree-lined fairways and perfectly manicured greens. With amazing grass formations and thousands of plants, trees surrounded with desert and mountains, Dirab Golf & Country Club attracts people who enjoy an active and fulfilling lifestyle.
The clubs aim is to satisfy golfers, even those with the most discriminating tastes. It has lush, tree-lined fairways, meticulously manicured greens and excellent practice facilities. The 9-holes are floodlit enabling play after sundown allowing golfers to play after work and in the cooler hours of the evening. The clubhouse  offers cuisine by French Corner Restaurant and a lounge area with satellite TV for relaxation while watching Sports on TV.

Driving Range:

“Practice doesnt make perfect, but perfect practice does increase the chances of improvement.”  At Dirab Golf & Country Club, the practice facility is not just a place to stop by and hit a few balls before a round. It is a destination that holds as many challenges and as much fun.

The anchor of the practice area is a wide driving range approx. 27,000 sq meters, excluding 1,600 sq meter practice tee with all-grass hitting stations that can accommodate 30 golfers simultaneously. It has plenty of room for long hitters to practice their 300 yard drives!

A total of 12 stations available with automated ball dispensers, shaded from the sun and floodlit when it is dark, enables golfers to stay cool and practice morning, afternoon and evening alike. Grass stations are rotated frequently to ensure a quality practice surface. Grass range maintenance includes weekly aeration, seeding, and top dressing

Putting Green:

The putting green has both flat and undulated contours, giving you true on-course conditions, whilst containing  several putting holes. The area around this green provides diverse lies, to help you determine which club to use to get the ball close to each of the different putting holes. 

Pitching Area:

‘Problems with your pitching ?’

The pitching area consists of both a pitching green and distance flags. The pitching green covers a  9,000 square meter area and allows you to pitch to a green from multiple situations including : below the green, above the green, over bunkers, side hill lies, and flat lies. The distance flags are located off the driving range at various distances to help you determine which club and swing length to use.

Chipping Green:

The chipping green has a 10,000 square feet surface and contains several putting holes. The area around this green provides diverse lies to help you determine which clubs to use to get the ball close to each of the different putting holes. 

Bunkers:

‘Is Sand your problem?’

The lower bunker area allows you to work on fairway and greenside bunker shots. Located close to the driving range, this bunker allows you to work on hitting all the clubs in your bag,  from the sand. It is also great for short and high shots up towards the green above it. The second bunker is for work on short and long shots to the various putting holes located on the green.

Golf Academy:

In an area known for its exclusive golfing facilities, Dirab Golf offers a 9-hole course with a reputation for playability and hospitality. It is a comfortable, easily walked course that is lush with greens. An excellent par 27 course to exercise your irons, become comfortable with golf whilst still challenging your shots.

Pro-Shop:

The Dirab Golf & Country Club Pro shop offers the hottest innovations in the golf industry. The latest and best fashion in golf apparel and accessories are available in stock. The Pro shop is operated by friendly and knowledgeable staff who can help you find the right equipment for the game-whether you’re a beginner or a pro. The latest models of drivers, irons, putters, wedges, gloves, shoes, bags, carts, balls and clothing are ready and available anytime.

Clubhouse:

The Clubhouse is located at the heart of Dirab Golf Course offering cuisine by French Corner Restaurant. It has a lounge area with satellite TV for relaxation allowing golf enthusiasts  to relax before or after their game, with Satellite channels updating sports enthusiasts.  With  fine views of the 10th and 18th Holes, putting green and driving range from both the lounge and dining area, provides entertainment as you watch the agony and ecstasy. The dining room is convivial – good food, refreshing drinks and friendly staff awaits its clients.

Tennis:

Dirab Golf & Country Club invites its members to enjoy world-class tennis in the lighted cement tennis courts. Available to members only.

Swimming pool:

A large swimming pool is located just beside the driving range along with a grassy area. It is surrounded by shrubs adding to the privacy for any guest/family recreation. Its the perfect way to cool off after a day at work or a round of golf again, available to members only. A furnished tent is available beside the swimming pool, which can be used for social gatherings, such as barbeque events, small parties etc.

Horse stables:
